We all know someone that enjoys a good cuppa. Some may enjoy a simple English breakfast, others mix 8 different types of tea together to make their own perfect brew. 

We have over 24 different loose leaves to keep everyone satisfied. Some may think WOW 24 options are a tad over the top, but we are always adding new ingredients to our collection as the options out there are endless. So please if you have an ingredient you want to get your hands on for that perfect brew please ask and we can make it happen.

Aniseed Whole | Origin Turkey 

Anise seeds are packed with important micronutrients such as proteins, monounsaturated fats, omega-three and omega-six fatty acids, fibre, minerals such as copper, iron, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, manganese, selenium, zinc, and magnesium, and vitamins like vitamin A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C and E.

The antioxidants present in anise seeds regulate Blood Pressure and Circulation, promote heart health, protect livers and detoxify the body.

They also have sedative chemicals. It is involved in neurotransmitters and hormones dependent reactions, which improve sleep and reduces stress and anxiety.

Drinking a herbal infusion made from anise seeds can also be beneficial for common respiratory problems. As an anti-spasmodic, anise will help to ease coughing. With expectorant properties, it can also relieve congestion, clearing mucus from the airways. With good anti-microbial properties, it is also helpful for fighting a bacterial or viral infection.

Black Tea - Organic | Origin India

Organic Black Loose Leaf Tea has a smooth, full-bodied flavour to give you that refreshingly warm boost to your day!

How much you use this tea will depend on how strong you like your tea. As a simple rule, one small teaspoon is enough for one cup of tea. Add the desired amount of tea to your tea infuser or teapot, cover with freshly boiled water and all steep for 3-5mins. Serve as is or with milk or sweetener if you fancy.

Cinnamon Quills | Origin China  

Cinnamomum Cassia Cinnamon bark is widely used as a spice. It is principally employed in cookery as a condiment and flavouring material. It is used in the preparation of chocolate, especially in Mexico, which is the main importer of cinnamon. It is also used in many dessert recipes, such as apple pie, doughnuts, and cinnamon buns as well as spicy candies, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and liqueurs. Cinnamon is used in traditional medicine, and several studies have tested chemicals extracted from cinnamon for various possible medicinal effects. Anti-viral, Diabetes, skin conditions. 

Cloves Whole | Origin Indonesia

Cloves are the dried flower buds of a tree belonging to the myrtle family. Cloves are used in the cuisine of Asian, African, the Near and the Middle East, lending flavour to meats, curries, and marinades, as well as a complement to fruit such as apples, pears, or rhubarb. In Mexican cuisine, cloves are best known as clavos de olor, and often accompany cumin and cinnamon.

Lemongrass - Aiding in digestion, lemongrass is also a wonderful ingredient full of antioxidants, which can help regulate metabolism, and blood pressure, and are great for use in helping burn fat and reducing cold and flu symptoms. 

Licorice Root - Used to help soothe gastrointestinal issues, licorice root is beneficial to aid in the restoration of the stomach lining, and creating a new balance. 

Fennel - Fennel's fibre, potassium, folate, vitamin C, vitamin B-6, and phytonutrient content, coupled with its lack of cholesterol, all support heart health. Fennel contains significant amounts of fibre. As fibre helps lower the total amount of cholesterol in the blood, it decreases the risk of heart disease.

Juniper Berries - Containing antioxidants, juniper berries are a wonderful sleep aid, great for heart health, and help improve digestion. A wonderful ingredient as part of diabetic health.

Nettle - Nettle in tea health benefits include treating muscle pain, promoting cardiovascular health, maintaining kidney health, improving digestion, boosting the immune system, enhancing the skin and treating the respiratory. Other benefits include supporting bone health, acting as a detoxifier, preventing inflammation and treating menstrual cramps.

Earl Grey - Organic 

This Organic Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea has a distinctively spicy citrus flavour and aroma derived from the Bergamot citrus tree. It makes for a delightful cup of tea and a great way to start your day.

Echinacea - Organic | Origin Egypt 

One of the most popular teas amongst naturopaths and nutritionists. Echinacea is also used against many other infections including the flu, urinary tract infections, vaginal yeast infections, genital herpes, bloodstream infections (septicemia), gum disease, tonsillitis, streptococcus infections, syphilis, typhoid, malaria, and diphtheria.

Combine echinacea with other strong-flavoured herbal teas and see which one tastes the best to you. It's commonly brewed with chamomile, ginger, lemongrass, elderberry or peppermint, all of which improve the taste of the tea and are healthy additions. Fennel Seeds | Origin India 

Fennel seeds are a is a highly aromatic and flavorful herb with culinary and medicinal uses. Fennel contains anethole, which can explain some of its medical effects. Fennel seeds work great to assist with digestion and gut health. It's perfect to drink as a tea after a meal to relax and ease digestion.

Ginger Cut - Organic | Origin India

This organic loose-cut ginger tea has a spicy, fresh, invigorating taste. Organic ginger tea has many therapeutic benefits and is often used to soothe sore throats and settle the stomach.

Green tea is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis that have undergone minimal oxidation during processing. Green tea contains a variety of enzymes, amino acids, carbohydrates, lipids, sterols, related compounds, phytochemicals, and dietary minerals. Health benefits: healthy cells, healthy heart, brain health, weight loss, less stress. 

Jasmine Buds - Organic | Origin China 

Jasmine tea is tea scented with the aroma of jasmine blossoms. Typically, jasmine tea has green tea as the tea base; however, white tea and black tea are also used. The resulting flavour of jasmine tea is subtly sweet and highly fragrant.

Lavender Flower - Organic | Origin Albania 

Lavender is used extensively with herbs and aromatherapy. Infusions are believed to soothe insect bites, burns, and headaches. Bunches of lavender repel insects. In pillows, lavender seeds and flowers aid sleep and relaxation. An infusion of flowerheads added to a cup of boiling water is used to soothe and relax at bedtime. 

It is grown as a condiment and used in salads and dressings. Lavender flavours baked goods and desserts (it pairs especially well with chocolate), and is also used to make "lavender sugar". Lavender flowers are occasionally blended with black, green, or herbal teas.

Lemon Myrtle is a Bushfood that has been utilised by Indigenous Australians, as both a cooking ingredient and a medicinal plant, for thousands of years. Grown in the subtropical region of Northern NSW, this dried Lemon Myrtle leaf is a free-flowing herb that can be used as a substitute for lemon, lime or lemongrass. The crushed leaves have a strong “lemon” aroma and impart a deep lemon/lime flavour that is wonderfully refreshing in hot or cold drinks and can be used in sweet or savoury recipes.

Lemon Grass | Origin Germany 

Lemon Grass is used for treating digestive tract spasms, stomachache, high blood pressure, convulsions, pain, vomiting, cough, achy joints (rheumatism), fever, the common cold, and exhaustion. It is also used to kill germs and as a mild astringent. Some people apply lemongrass and its essential oil directly to the skin for headaches, stomachaches, abdominal pain, and muscle pain. By inhalation, the essential oil of lemon grass is used as aromatherapy for muscle pain.

Nettle - Organic | Origin Poland 

Stinging nettle leaf has known benefits of being a gentle diuretic, helping the body to process and flush away toxins. It can assist to flush the kidneys and bladder to prevent and soothe urinary tract infections. Nettle tea is ideal for sodium-induced water retention and high blood pressure.

Peppermint - Organic | Origin Albania

Peppermint is used for the common cold, cough, inflammation of the mouth and throat, sinus infections, and respiratory infections. It is also used for digestive problems including heartburn, nausea, vomiting, morning sickness, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), cramps of the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract and bile ducts, upset stomach, diarrhoea, bacterial overgrowth of the small intestine, and gas. Some people also use peppermint for menstrual problems, liver and gallbladder complaints, preventing spasms during endoscopy procedures, and as a stimulant. 

Raspberry Leaf - Organic | Origin Albania

The Raspberry leaf is the leaf of the raspberry plant. It is somewhat well known for its benefits during pregnancy, but it is beneficial to women at all stages of life. It is naturally high in magnesium, potassium, iron and b-vitamins which make it helpful for nausea, leg cramps, and improving sleep during pregnancy. The specific combination of nutrients in Raspberry Leaf makes it extremely beneficial for the female reproductive system. It strengthens the uterus and pelvic muscles which some midwives say leads to a shorter and easier labour. The tannins in raspberry leaf give it astringent properties which make it soothing both internally and externally. A strong raspberry leaf tea or tincture will sooth sunburn, eczema, and rashes when used externally. Swishing with a tincture or infusion of Raspberry Leaf is great for the gums and can help alleviate the symptoms of gingivitis or gum disease.

Star Anise | Origin China

Star anise contains anethole, the same ingredient that gives the unrelated anise its flavour. It is widely grown for commercial use in China, India, and most other countries in Asia. Star anise is an ingredient of the traditional five-spice powder of Chinese cooking. It is also a major ingredient in the making of ph?, a Vietnamese noodle soup. Star anise has been used in tea as a traditional remedy for rheumatism, and the seeds are sometimes chewed after meals to aid digestion. 

Sticky Chai - Organic 

The secret to this chai? Mix black tea leaves, ginger, cardamom, cloves, star anise, turmeric and black peppercorns with one very special ingredient: Himalayan honey. It’s sweet, sticky and scarily addictive. By infusing with honey, you get these buttery toffee notes in the chai, all mellow and toasty, with a lovely golden colour. The honey also helps prevent ‘de-blending’, so every cup of organic sticky chai tastes exactly the same. Simmer with milk on the stovetop for about ten minutes, then garnish with a cinnamon stick. No sugar required – this one’s sweet enough.

Rooibos - Organic | Origin South Africa 

Organic Rooibos Loose Leaf Tea comes from the plant Aspalathi linearis folium bio, traditionally found in South AfricaIt has a deep, rich, earthy-sweet flavour and is thought to hold many health benefits including promoting a healthy immune system and some anti-allergen effects.

Rose Buds - Organic | Origin China 

Rose buds are traditionally known for their heavenly aroma. The traditional and contemporary uses of rose are almost the same. It has been mainly used for its fragrance component and its soothing effect. It has been known to help alleviate headaches and is a popular flavouring agent in many Mediterranean dishes. 

Drinking dried rosebud tea helps reduce the risk of dysentery, diarrhea, gastroenteritis and constipation. Finally, drinking rose flower herbal tea is a great way to relax after a busy day at the office, as it can calm the central nervous system, reducing the chance of depression and anxiety. 

Rosebuds can also be added to bath salts and used in cooking.
