Sage is a plant with woolly greyish leaves that add a musky, earth freshness to food. This Organic Sage is commonly used in meat dishes, in marinades and stuffings. It can also be used to add a delicious flavour to soups and potato dishes.

Sage has for generations been listed as one of the essential herbs, along with parsley, rosemary and thyme.In the traditional Austrian medicine Salvia officinalis herb has been used internally (as tea or directly chewed) for treatment of disorders of the respiratory tract, mouth, gastrointestinal tract, and skin.
